Our Regular Week Night racing Series starts
Monday, May 7th with the International One Metre Class. This
year we will be sailing every Monday evening starting at 6pm.
Our Soling One Meter Class will begin racing on Wednesday
the 9th of May, and will sail every Wednesday, starting at
6pm (1800 hrs).
There will be 8 heats (races) in each race night, with a minimum
of 3 boats and 3 races to constitute a race night.

Racing will be scored in accordance with RRS Appendix A2.2,
Low Point Scoring System and governed by the ISAF 2005-2008
Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), including Appendix E; Fleet
determined Sailing Instructions (SI), Bylaws of the Kingston
Yacht Club, the Rules of the International One Metre Class
and Soling Class as warranted.
Venues this season will be as follows:
The Monday Night IOM Fleet will sail off the break-wall at
KYC. The Wednesday Night Soling Fleet will sail in Navy Bay
at RMC.
There is recognition for the top three racers in each series
for both fleets and awards for the top three racers for the
overall season in both fleets.
Both fleets invite all members to come by and give it a try.

Other RC Events:
November - Until the Ice Moves In –
IOM Frostbite Series often referred to as the “Hot Rum”
series. A perpetual trophy is housed at Kingston Yacht Club
and awarded to the Frostbite Champion each year.
