Club Update

KYC is home to Eastern Ontario Shark Championships this weekend. We expect a higher than normal usage of the Club and facilities during this time. Specifically, food and beverage operations will either be delayed or shut down on Saturday evening in order to accommodate the Shark dinner.

Glenn Singleton has officially begun his new position at Brockville Country Club. We wish him all the best, and thank him for his service over the last four seasons. We also thank the members in advance for their patience and understanding during this transitional period.

Partridge Bowl

The Annual Club Cruise to Jemmett's Landing is July 19th.
The cruise is centred on the race for the Partridge Bowl.

A Le Mans start coupled with pursuit race format means that the first racer to arrive at the property is the winner.
It's always an exciting event and, then, there's the party that follows...

Staff will be on-site to cook,
the trophy will be suitably filled and shared.

This special event will require that the dock and the mooring balls
be available for participants: rafting will be necessary.
Others are asked to leave the dock by noon on Saturday, July 19.

It should again be available for general usage
for the evening and night of July 20.

Come and take part in the Cruise!

Paddleboards, Kayaks and Trampolines

KYC has purchased paddleboards, kayaks and a water trampoline for member use. Paddleboards and kayaks are in a 'testing' phase with limited access. We hope to offer full access over the next few weeks.

A white marker has been placed at the proposed trampoline site off the T-Dock. We encourage members, while entering and exiting the harbour, to consider the location and provide any feedback they may have.

Jemmett's Firepit

We ask that when using the firepit at Jemmett's to please make sure you have completely extinguished your fires before departure.
Thank you.
