Thank you to all members who attended our AGM last night. The meeting ran approximately two hours with all four proposed motions carried.

We are looking for people interested in serving on the board or on a committee for the upcoming year. It is an exciting time to be involved with the club with both great challenges and great opportunities our future. The club is looking for people with new and creative ideas and a variety of skills and experience.

Beer of the Week
Back by popular demand is Beau’s Nightmarzen Oktoberfest style lager. This amber lager is brewed for the fall by Beau’s every year. It is thirst quenching but has enough body and flavour for the cold nights of this time of year.

Ladies washroom at the Clubhouse is complete (We are waiting on a few finishing touches but it is fully operational).
We are very happy with the new look and hope you are too! Special thanks goes out to Brad and Trevor of our own KYC team for their hard work on the renovations (and for having it ready in time for the AGM!). Thanks also to Terri Hodges for her design and vision for the updated facility.

- When: 1545h, every Wednesday, classes formally start at 1600h.
- Cost: The cost is $10 per session (which we will be happy to apply to your account)

| December 6: Roast Beast Feast
The KYC holiday tradition continues. There will be carols to sing, holiday beverages and a prime rib dinner prepared by Chef Neil and his kitchen team. Drinks start at 5pm, carolling starts at 5:30 and dinner at 6:45 in the Partridge Room. $30 a person.

| December 8: Ladies' Holiday Luncheon
The annual ladies holiday luncheon returns for this year by popular demand. Chef Neil will be preparing a special menu. Seatings will start at 12pm and run until 2pm. A la carte pricing.

| December 13: Children's Christmas Party
Bring the whole family down for KYC’s annual kid’s Christmas party. There will be a holiday lunch buffett, games and activities for kids of all ages. The Queen’s Sailing Team will be here to help run events. To top of the day there will be an extra special visit from a surprise guest! Lunch at 12:30, games start at 1, visit from Santa around 2. $10 for kids, $20 for adults. Parents, please have a wrapped gift for your child ready at the office for Santa to give out.

| December 19: Holiday Cocktail Party
After the success of our summer food and beverage festival, this cocktail party with cap off a great holiday season at KYC. There will be a wide variety of new food, holiday treats and old favourites prepared by Chef Neil & his talented kitchen team. There will also be drink tastings from KYC’s various wine and beer sponsors. This event will be a perfect time to bring friends to experience KYC even if they aren’t members. Tickets will be $30 for members and $35 for non-members. The festivities will get under way at 6pm.
