Little Book Chapter 3: “The Road Home”

Little Book Chapter 3 is a blend of four Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskies, one from each brand of the original Small Batch Bourbon Collection created by Freddie Noe’s grandfather Booker Noe in the early 1990s. The blend is composed of a 9 year old Knob Creek Bourbon, a 9 year old Basil Hayden’s Bourbon, an 11 year old Booker’s Bourbon, and a 12 year old Baker’s Bourbon.

Bottled at 61.3% ABV (122.6 proof), Little Book Chapter 3: “The Road Home” is described as having tasting notes of “vanilla, caramel, and spices.”

Join us on Saturday March 21, 2020 to try this limited edition Bourbon & Chef Neil's four course paired meal offering.

| March 27: Ted's Trivia Night

Ted's Trivia Night – Friday, March 27th 6 pm

We would like to challenge all KYC members (new and old, sailors and non-sailors) to participate in the Annual KYC Trivia Night now to be held on Friday, March 27th 6:00 pm. Mark your calendars and get your crew all pumped up for an evening that always proves to be entertaining, fun, informative and often somewhat humiliating for all but the winning contestants! We are pleased to once again have the considerable skills, depth of knowledge and crowd controlling expertise of Past Commodore Ted Ison as our Quizmaster. Questions will be sailing related as well as of general interest – something for salty dogs and landlubbers alike! We encourage members to form teams (max 6 members/team) based on boat crew, family associations, or simply smart friends that you think will know the answers. There will be lots of opportunity to scramble together a team from those at the bar, please submit your team entry to Brandon no later than March 25th so we can make the appropriate arrangements. Remember…it is not what you know ...or who you know ...it is if you know someone that thinks they know all the answers and you can get them on your Trivia Team!

Bohemian Pilsner

Bohemian Pilsner 4.8% ABV

The style that revolutionized Beer. How on earth Czech beer makers i the 15 th century cracked the recipe is a mystery. For the first time in history, a pale-golden, Crystal clear beer appeared. The Style was, and still is noted for its toasty, biscuit-like malt body and distinguished spicy-hop aromas.

Tasting Notes

Up front flavour of toasty biscuit and bready sweetness abruptly gives way to a subtle bitterness with a clean finish. Slight aromas of spices and pepper perfectly balance the malty body and gives this pilsner the chacter it deserves.
