The sun sets on our wonderful club
| Updates from the General Manager
Holiday Fun Continues
After a rousing carolling event, the seasonal fun continues! This Friday, December 11th, our talented food & beverage team will be serving a yuletide turkey lunch and dinner for you and your family, friends, and colleagues. This is a great opportunity to take someone out for lunch or dinner to celebrate the end of the year and introduce them to KYC!
Holiday Shutdown Work Party Invitation
With the arrival of the 125th anniversary year just weeks away, it is time to get our wonderful Clubhouse ready for the celebrations! Over the holiday shutdown, we are looking for members who would like to help the Club with a few maintenance projects on Saturday and Sunday, January 9th and 10th.
Led by the Membership Committee, work parties at KYC are always fun. They can be a wonderful opportunity to meet and get to know members and give something back to your club. From dusting to cleaning to painting, there is much to do and something for any level of skill. To lend your support, please email the general manager at manager@kingstonyachtclub.ca.

| December 16: Cruisers' Muster - Trivia
We are moving the KYC Cruiser Muster - Trivia online. Given the increasing infection rate in our area it seemed the wisest approach.
The Muster on December 16th will be an evening of Ted’s Trivia as planned. It will begin at 6pm. Cruisers are encouraged to get takeout from the Club. The questions will be live but answers will be emailed to cruising@KingstonYachtClub.ca. These emails will be reviewed in the following days for correct answers and the winner will be declared.
A Zoom link will be sent out before Wednesday and Brandon has promised a list of ‘T’ cocktail recipes for your enjoyment.
Hope to ‘see’ you there.| Women in Wind Book Club
This is a great opportunity to get suggestions to add to your winter reading lists. The idea is to send along the title of a book(s) or author you’ve enjoyed reading. We’ll take these ideas and come up with a fabulous reading list.
As always, new participants are welcome. If you are currently not on the Women in Wind roster, please email your email address to wiw@kingstonyachtclub.com
If you send in your recommendations by December 21, and you’ll receive your reading list by Christmas.
Cheers,
Kim and Kate
