Three Knocks

Sticke Alt: German-Style Altbier 7% ABV

Sticke Alt is a special, rare version of a German-style altbier; bigger and bolder than usual. Three Knocks features a decidedly robust but balanced blend of clean, crisp and bready malts, with an assertive hop backbone. Oaky undertones are courtesy of the oakwood aging.

History & Style
Seasonally or sometimes just once a year, altbier breweries in Dusseldorf will covertly brew special, stronger batches of their alt, and share them with family, friends and regular patrons. Beau’s toasts this historical tradition with Three Knocks, a stronger, bolder and oak-aged version of our award-winning altbier recipe.
Tasting Notes
Three Knocks pours brilliant mahogany with a dense ecru foam. The aroma offers deep grainy malt notes complemented by a touch of herbal hops. The flavour notes feature deep chewy malt and intense but balanced hop bitterness. The long finish offers resonances of crisp malts and spicy hops with a touch of woody tannin.

| Sailing

Finally, after the long off season, weeknight racing starts on Tuesday! Remember the water is very cold, so be careful out there.

Please welcome Arcchit Sehgal (goes by "Archie"), our new Race Management Coordinator! He will be working with our volunteer race committee teams on running this year's club racing for the first month or two. Then, assistants will be brought on-boarded to help out.

Remember to check the online Race Committee Duty Calendar to see your duties and to sign up for particular slots. Each racing boat is required to perform 2 duties (weeknight or weekend) per year.

Big thanks to John Vines and his work crew for getting our racing marks deployed early this year.

As outlined in the Sailors Handbook and during the Annual Sailors Meeting, we will have post race arbitration service available as an option for handling protests.

Please share your thoughts on any of our Sailing programs with the appropriate people. There are also now new program specific KYC email addresses for members or the public wishing to connect about a specific program:
