Town Hall Meeting - Harbour Redevelopment
~ Thursday April 18th, 1900hrs ~
Please join the Board for a Town Hall meeting tonight for a presentation on the status and plans for harbour redevelopment.This first meeting will primarily focus on a presentation of our current proposal and plan for the new harbour. All of the information will be posted online after the meeting, and we will be inviting members to provide feedback and questions.

The second Town Hall Meeting (May 1st) will be focused on following up on the feedback from the membership and addressing any concerns.

SGM: Board will seek approval from the membership to secure financing and to engage contractor(s) to provide docks, wave attenuators, etc. for Spring 2014 installation.
Junior Sailing
KYC is now accepting Junior Sailing and Race Team applications.
A number of sessions have already filled up.

We are now accepting ALTS registrations for all sessions!

Buff Your Boat!
Join us at KYC on April 20th to buff your boat for the season and share in a buffet dinner after all of your hard work. Details here.
Sailors Meeting
April 24 ~ 19:00hrs
Come down to the club for the final Sailors Meeting before the season starts. Handbooks will be distributed and Race Committee Schedules will be discussed. Please ensure there is at least one representative from each boat present.

Bar Service Hours
Starting Monday, April 22 the KYC Bar will resume service on Mondays and Tuesdays from 4-9PM.
2013 Membership Cards & Parking Stickers
Membership cards will be mailed Thursday, April 18th.
Parking stickers are being printed. We will let you know when they are ready for pick-up.

Race Management Course
Wednesday, May 8th. 18:30-23:00hrsRunning sailboat races can be great fun!
This short course will give participants a chance to learn about race management and the things a race committee does.
Registered participants will receive an Assistant Race Officer Certificate from Ontario Sailing. This is the first of four levels of Sail Canada certification.

Shark Race Committee
On Saturday, May 11th KYC will host
the Kingston-Quinte Shark Team Racing Challenge.We need volunteers to help run the races.
