Cruising

Join us! We welcome all KYC members to our events and pursuits. It is a great way to get to know other Club members, make new friends, and share cruising and boating information. Even if you don’t have a boat.

The Cruising Fleet exists to promote, coordinate and celebrate cruising, whether local for a few days, or long distance voyages of thousands of miles to far off shores.

KYC is very fortunate to be located in such beautiful cruising grounds from Prince Edward County and the Bay of Quinte to the Thousand Islands and, of course, our own Jemmett’s Landing on the NE shore of Wolfe Island.

KYC is close to long distance cruising gateways: the Rideau Canal, the Trent Canal System, the Welland Canal to Lake Erie and beyond, Oswego to the Hudson and the Intercoastal Waterway, the St Lawrence River to the east coast of Canada.

Come and share cruising stories, tips and information at the Cruising Fleet Get Togethers the fourth Wednesday of each and every month at 5:30pm at the Club. Nibbles and finger foods are served.
